What can I expect at the event?
Dive into the history of the Vikings with Vikings The Immersive Odyssey. On the program a 1,000 m² interactive journey where 360° video projections, immersive sets, and storytelling take you 1,000 years back into the Viking era. An experience suitable for young and old alike, designed to discover this era in a fun and engaging way.
Where is the experience located?
The experience takes place at the Cité Immersive, at 1 rue Massenet, in Nice, along the Promenade des Anglais.
Does the experience take place indoors or outdoors?
The experience takes place indoors, over 1,000 m². The exhibition is air-conditioned and benefits from an ideal location for visitors.
How long does the experience last?
Each visitor may stay as long as they wish; the route is self-guided. On average, visitors spend 1 hour in the experience.
Will food and drinks be available for purchase on site?
The exhibition does not offer food or drinks on site. Many nearby shops sell food and beverages.
Is there parking nearby?
By car: several parking facilities are available in the city center nearby:

Is there virtual reality?
Yes. The exhibition offers a virtual reality gaming experience in partnership with The Viking Planet in Oslo, available as an add-on when purchasing your ticket.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
The Cité Immersive is equipped with a shop at the end of the route, inside the venue, allowing visitors to extend the experience and take home Viking treasures. Access to the shop does not require a ticket for the exhibition; entry is free.
ABOUT TICKETS
Where can I buy tickets?
You can purchase tickets via the Fever app or on the Fever website. An on-site ticket office is also available. However, we recommend booking your tickets in advance to ensure a time slot.
Can I buy tickets on site?
The ticket office is available on site, at the entrance of the Cité Immersive, during opening hours.
Can I transfer my ticket to another person?
No, tickets are personal and non-transferable.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, you can present your ticket on your smartphone.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do?
You can view your ticket in the Fever app, in the "Tickets" section. If you have not yet installed the app, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in with the same account used to purchase your ticket. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
This experience allows you to change the date and/or time up to 48 hours before the start of the event. You can access this option by viewing your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app, where the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. No refunds are allowed, regardless of the circumstances. For more information, you can consult our T&Cs.
Can I make a group booking?
Upon request, the Cité Immersive welcomes groups of 20 people or more. Discounted rates are also available for groups of 5 to 19 people at the ticket office.
My child is under 3 years old. Do I need to buy a ticket?
Children under 3 years old are admitted free of charge. However, it is necessary to reserve a free ticket for them to guarantee entry and comply with venue capacity.
Do you offer press passes?
The Cité Immersive welcomes members of the press and journalists free of charge upon presentation of a valid press card on the day of the visit, subject to a mandatory request by email at agence@dezarts.fr. Presentation of the press card will be required at the entrance.
ABOUT ACCESSIBILITY TO THE EVENT
Do I need to arrive at the time of my session?
We recommend arriving 5 minutes before the time indicated on your ticket.
Are animals allowed? Are guide dogs permitted?
Animals are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs.
Is the venue accessible to people with reduced mobility?
The venue is equipped and accessible for people with reduced mobility.
Are there prohibited items at the experience? Can I smoke or vape?
Yes, the following are prohibited:
- No smoking or vaping indoors
- No dangerous or overly bulky objects
- No food or drinks (except for medical reasons)
Do you offer tickets for tour guides & group chaperones?
For groups of at least 20 people, access for chaperones and tour guides is free at a ratio of one chaperone per 8 people/students.
Do you offer tickets for caregivers accompanying visitors?
Access for caregivers accompanying people with disabilities is free.
Is the experience accessible to people who are hard of hearing / visually impaired?
Yes, most of the installations are accessible to people who are hard of hearing. However, the exhibition is not translated into sign language. Thanks to its multisensory nature, it is highly appreciated (touch, smell, hearing, sight).
Will there be strobe lights?
Video-projection lighting may trigger epileptic seizures. Sensitive audiences may experience dizziness or nausea.
Will seating be available during the experience? Will there be places to sit?
Some seating is available along the route.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes, the Cité Immersive provides restrooms on site. Use is reserved exclusively for visitors with an exhibition ticket.
Can I use my camera / video camera during the experience?
Yes, the experience encourages the use of cameras and video cameras; the immersive sets contribute to high-quality visuals.
Is there a lost and found area?
Yes, in case of lost items at the Cité Immersive, you may contact the reception desk, which collects all lost property.
Is there a cloakroom available?
Yes, lockers are available.
Is there an age requirement?
The immersive exhibition is suitable for all ages.
Will there be an audio guide?
The exhibition is equipped with visitor headsets and earphones available throughout the route.
